Climate Finance report for Mercy Corps
In 2024, a colleague and I helped write and edit a report on climate finance for Mercy Corps and the Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance to support their advocacy at a UN climate conference in Azerbaijan. We were given a brief and a lot of background material, which we organised into a report aimed at delegates tasked with agreeing a new climate finance goal.
The report was very well received by our client and the target audiences, getting a lot of attention in the media and online. Key to our work was making the information technically accurate but accessible, which we partly achieved via the structure of the report, and also by avoiding too much jargon or assuming knowledge on the part of the reader.
